TÜBİTAK Science is Everywhere Children’s Festival

The TÜBİTAK Science is Everywhere Children’s Festival will welcome young science enthusiasts to Forum Manisa from July 17–19. Taking place over three days and free of charge, the festival will offer children a rich program featuring hands-on workshops, practical educational kits, and educational games where they can experience science firsthand. The activities will encourage children’s interest in science while allowing them to enjoy the process of researching, questioning, and discovering.

As part of the festival, children will meet TÜBİTAK’s popular Meraklı Minik and Bilim Çocuk magazines. In workshops led by expert guides, children will have the opportunity to explore the content featured in the magazines through hands-on activities. Using wooden science kits such as the Periscope Making Kit, Kaleidoscope (Flower Viewer) Making Kit, and Balancing Bird Making Kit, children will create their own projects while discovering basic scientific concepts through hands-on learning.

The festival program will also feature interactive games designed to encourage children’s active participation. Through “Space Maze,” “Let’s Go for a Test Drive,” and “Show the Way to the Entomologist,” children will have fun while developing their attention, communication, teamwork, observation, and problem-solving skills. Special photo areas at the event venue will also give families the opportunity to capture and preserve the memories of this special day.
